Ash Tree Day Nursery is hiring a Nursery Assistant to work and play with children on our premises. The duties of this position include planning educational and stimulating activities, managing the children’s personal needs, ensuring their safety, keeping records up-to-date, and working in a team.

We maintain consistency by having a low staff turnover rate, allowing us to work as a true team. Consequently, situations such as this are rare.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and implementation of educational activities
• Maintaining health and safety standards
• Communicating with parents and caregivers
• Keeping track of injuries and illnesses
• Remaining up-to-date with records
• The preparation of meals and snacks

Requirements

• Former qualifications or previous experience is not essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety
• Patience and punctual
• Commitment to providing high-quality childcare
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Having a genuine interest in learning and education and not being afraid to get hands-on with activities like finger painting and jumping in puddles is a must!
